Mikołaj Piaskowski co-leads the Competition and Consumer Protection Practice in Baker McKenzie's Warsaw office. He has practiced in competition law, focusing on antitrust, merger control, consumer protection and State aid laws, for 20 years. He represents clients in numerous proceedings before the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK), the Competition and Consumer Protection Court (SOKiK), the Court of Appeals and the European Commission. He has repeatedly advised clients from the Retail and FMCG sectors on all aspects of competition law relating to their business activity. He acts as a speaker at conferences, seminars and workshops for these sectors as a moderator, speaker or panelist in business and legal discussions. Mikołaj is recommended as one of the most regarded competition practitioners in Poland by the Global Competition Review GCR 100, Who'sWho Legal, Chambers Europe and the Legal 500.
