Jakub Olipra holds a PhD in Economics. He is a graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH), where he works as an Assistant Professor at the Applied Economics Department. Since 2015 at Credit Agricole Bank Polska, where he is responsible for macroeconomic and agri-food sector analyses. He ranked in top places in the competition for best forecasts of agricultural commodities prices organised by the Rzeczpospolita. In 2021 he was appointed a Knight of the French Order of Agricultural Merit (Ordre du Mérite Agricole).
