Marek Zagórski
Marek Zagórski, the CEO of National Food Industry Group, Member of Parliament of the 4th, 8th and 9th parliamentary term. In 2006-2007 he was Secretary of State at the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. In 2015 he was appointed Secretary of State at the Ministry of State Treasury. In the years 2016- 2018 he was Secretary of State at the Ministry of Digitalisation. In January 2018 the Prime Minister, entrusted him with managing the Ministry of Digitalisation and subsequently he was appointed Minister of Digitalisation.
He graduated from the University of Szczecin, where he obtained his MA in pedagogy at the Faculty of Humanities. In 1997 he completed a course in Modern Financial Management Methods at the French Management Institute, and in 2001 he obtained a postgraduate degree in banking and finance at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences.
From 2009, he was the President of the European Fund for the Development of Polish Rural Areas. He worked previously in the media, as well as in Management Boards and Supervisory Boards of commercial law companies. He was a member of the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Council of Agricultural Property of the State Treasury Agency and the Export Credit Insurance Policy Committee.
